MISPLACED PRIORITIES

On May 16, 2020 at 12 noon when I was going from Dona Paula to Panjim via
Miramar circle I observed several works in progress by GSDIC after the
clearance given by CM Pramod Sawant to restart pending projects which were
halted due to Corona viru
The financially bankrupt Goa Government has no funds to pay the old age
pension to the Dayanand Social Security Scheme impoverished beneficiaries
who for the last four months have not been paid their monthly pension of Rs
2000, but is squandering lakhs of rupees on unnecessary mega newspaper
advert
