Maim, what is this? http://www.flickr.com/photos/joegoauktiatr5/4759768805/
That’s the tiatr by Anil Kumar (Anifa Production) It was staged at Kala Academy on 1st Sept.2010 So. What the story is all about? I asked a few at the auditorium including ours and their reply was ‘Tiatr sarko Temchoch’ Although we had ticket for this tiatr, I alone could not be there on time and as such, I could only watch about the an hour of the last part. Here is what I saw (and not what I heard) The story does appear revolving round the recent ‘Ratol Sucide’ incident. There is Vicky (not Minister), there is Sofia (the ratol suicide victim), there is Tanya (Sophia’s mother/widow), There is Curtorim Police Station, there is CID Crime branch with Lady PI (Cynet) asking Vicky where he was at the time of the death/sucide?, there were NGO (Women), Tanya’s servant, son, son-in-law etc Talk about Ratol, tootpaste, tooth brush, 90 lacks spent by Vicky on Sophia’s Treatment. Extra Marital affair, promises made, foreign trips, vicky Married but has children from another woman, Possible love angle between Vicky-Sophia’s mother Tanya Vicky educational qualification, Vicky’s aide/Advisor etc etc One Mr. Sanjay Kalangutkar did the typical role of a Marathi speaking Havaldar throughout. Crowd was around 600 including many tiatrists such as Mil-Mel-Nel, Sheik Amir, Mr. & Mrs Tomazin etc etc. Seen some priests too. I Was lucky to watch/listen to 4 songs Fatima sang as a grieving mother of Roshni (Comba Train Accident Vitim) Francis de Mungul, Socoro de St. Cruz and his daughter Sonia and a comedy song who I see for the first time Here are some pics http://www.flickr.com/photos/joegoauktiatr5/4950491213/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/joegoauktiatr5/4950491675/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/joegoauktiatr5/4951083314/ joego...@yahoo.co.uk for Goa & NRI related info... http://in.groups.yahoo.com/group/GOAN-NRI/ For Goan Video Clips http://youtube.com/joeukgoa In Goa, Dial 1 0 8 For Hospital, Police, Fire etc * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Now available in Toronto, a few copies of *Into The Diaspora Wilderness* by Selma Carvalho.
