Hey Tourism Department etc,wake up yo, ....here is a wonderful event which would be great to show case Goan traditional music and in turn attract tourist and who knows what else. The festival attracts a lot of folks, attention and as well the environment-friendly aspect of such festivals.
The festival web site is, http://www.mondialdescultures.com/default.aspx The idea came up with Mackinaw, a folk group from the Drummonville area which keeps traditional Quebec music alive (some lessons for us). http://www.mackinaw.qc.ca/ The festival is just beginning, so maybe next year we'll see a Goan group up there.
