I was hoping that the BJP in Goa's interest would induct Shripad Naik as CM and
Francis DSouza as Speaker. There was then no need for a lame duck deputy CM.
Davalikar was practically No 2 when Parrikar was away. Francis says he relented
since Parsekar democratically got the most votes whereas the Central Observers
say he was unanimously elected! We have to believe both since the party with a
difference is no different from the Congress that they accused of no party
democracy and High Command writ. Now the RSS will "advise" the High Command at
the Centre through Union Defense Minister Parrikar to decide which direction
Goa goes. The altar boys surely see the writing on the wall and with a weak
leader relying on Ex Chief Minister Parrikar for guidance, and power hungry
MLAs organising themselves, the electorate wonder what next. We cannot see the
Congress and AAP effectively resurrecting and renewing themselves with new
strategies to become a significant opposition force in public interest.
