Organisers of Tiatro Daddy in Kuwait.
As announced earlier, the Tiatro Daddy written and directed by Samuel
Carvalho will be staged on Friday 16th of this month at Hawally A/C Hall,
starting at 3.30 p.m. Samuel Carvalho with his troupe consisting of all the
well known Tiatrists and Musicians from Goa is touring some of the Gulf
countries. Last week in Dubai he has already successfully staged his Daddy
with a house full and on Thursday 15th of this month he will stage Daddy in
Bahain where it is also expected to be a house full. And in Kuwait on
coming Friday according to the organizers it is also going to be a full
house as per the sale of tickets. However, in order not to face last minute
disappointment as it happened in Dubai, the Kuwait organizers request the
Tiatro goers to book their Gate Passes in advance.
Who are the organizers of Daddy in Kuwait? They are F. J. Xavier Dias from
St. Cruz, Goa and Leper Manuel Goes from Cortalim, Goa. Both are currently
working for KASCO in Kuwait and both are very enthusiastic young men.
Xavier Dias is not a new to such ventures and activities because though in
Kuwait this is his first attempt yet in Goa before coming to Kuwait a few
years back he was a well known Tiatro contractor. Under his contract he
organized Tiatros all over Goa of well known Tiatrists namely C. Alvares,
Ruzario Rodrigues, Patrick Dourado, A. M. Pacheco, Pascoal Rodrigues, Bab
Peter and others. He is very affable man and also courageous to face any
eventuality. So much so he was known in Goa to organize Tiatro even without
the assistance of security force. He was known in Goa also an honrad
Contractor because he always made the directors happy in whatever way he
could and precisely because of this most of the topmost directors would love
to stage their Tiatros thru Xavier only in Goa.
His partner Manuel Goes is not a new to Tiatro, he is a great lover of
Tiatro and in his locality involved in the promotion of Tiatro. Coming from
the village of legendary Minguel Rod the greatest Tiatrist of all time and a
friend of Minguel Rods son Jr. Rod, Manuel Goes is very intelligent and
charismatic personality though very humble in his dealings with everyone.
His public relations with everyone is very good. His mother Mary Goes was
once a well known Tiatrist in her locality and in neighbouring villages
acting with yet another renowned Tiatrist F. X. Pereira and Tony A. Friend,
Sacrament Pereira, director Abreu de Taleigao and others.
Both the above two persons have been assured total cooperation and support
by yet another Tiatro Mogui Mathew Goes from Colva. Mathew is the neighbour
of the well known Tiatrists Mini Mario. Since Mathew is very much involved
in Tiatro in Goa, to deal with this type of activities is not something new
to him. Hence, he is giving his best to both his colleagues and friends in
making this Tiatro Daddy a big success.
The local Tiatrists who will participate in this Tiatro are: well-known
songster, composer, director and playwright Rosary Ferns who has got unique
distinction of producing the first ever Konkani CD which is available in the
local market in Kuwait, melodious singer Sanny de Quepem, crowd puller
Michael DSilva and M. Luis.
