Goa's most corrupt ministers get publicity via many social events e.g.
Dances/Shows/Tiatrs etc Obviously these Anti-Goan MLA'a have sponsored these
events in some form, but are the funds given as sponsorships not acquired by
the respective Politician, via corruption and the sale/destruction of Goa &
its Identity? The Ministers "STEAL" huge sums from the common man and give a
little back to keep us "HAPPY". They and their families have been in power
for ages, looted the taxpayer for selfish gains; as a result of which the
life of the common man has become extremely difficult and many are forced to
migrate. These Politicians then use small parts of this illegitimate wealth
to pay some amenities for loyal followers, distribute
rice/sugar/fertilisers/onions to the gullible electorate, offer sponsorships
etc These small amounts these politicians shell out to buy the electorate is
nothing compared, to the crores of rupees that they have amassed for
themselves & their families. When will we Goans get rid of our "pathetic
mentality" of supporting these Anti-Goans Politicians for a
few incentives/amenities? Then on the other hand you have some loyal
supporters putting out paid advertisements to glorify their corrupt God
Fathers/Ministers to the hilt as "Dynamic, Great Leaders etc" these so
called leaders are actually leading Goa & Goans towards ultimate doom.
Anyone (particulary visitors) reading the various Goan Papers, would think
that Goans are very fortunate people to be ruled by such "wonderful"
politicians but I am sure that all Goans (even the loyal supporters of the
respective politician) will acknowledge that Goa is in as serious mess today
and if nothing is done to reverse the same, our paradise will be lost
forever!!
