Old Goa was the capital of the Portuguese rulers from 15th century until it was ravaged with plague. The than rulers took the decision to transfer the capital to Pangim. Therefore saving lives and continuity to life. Today Goa is again ravaged with an unprecedented plague. But today those who took over Goa since 1961 cannot solve the issue. Supply of oxygen is short causing so many deaths. Hospitals and staff are over loaded. No proper testing is conducted on the inhabitants. A total mismanagement of the pandemic. This has totally laid bare the rulers who have shown no morals. Some time back there were posts on GN comparing the pandemic in Portugal to Goa. Today the tables have totally overturned and the probharatis are now very quiet. Hope that all Goans get out of this situation safely. Just last week Goa lost another bhumiputra Sr. Julio Aguiar who was fighting the Mollem cause. It is time that all like minded Goans come together to get Goa out of this third world circumstance. BC
