Politics the last refuge of scoundrels ?I do not know who to give credit for this saying, but it does seem to ring true in every country in this world where politicians rule the roost. The notion of an honest politician is almost an oxymoron. The other saying that also rings true is "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely !" Kudos to the individuals who originally coined these sayings, as they have stood the test of time........................
