'Pro Badminton League', the second edition of the Professional Badminton League organized by Panjim Badminton Club in association with the Sports Authority of Goa kicked off at the Indoor Stadium, Campal-Panaji.
The League Team Championship was inaugurated by Shri V. M. Prabhudesai, Executive Director, Sports Authority of Goa in the presence of Mr. Richard D' Souza(President, Goa Badminton Association), NIS Coach Roy Athaide and others. PBC President Sarfraz Sheikh welcomed while Secretary Sandeep Heble proposed the vote of thanks. Eight Elite Teams representing the various ‘Corporate houses’ and Major Sports Clubs of Goa, namely Models Eagles, Fomento Flamingos, Harbour Blues, GBA Super Riders, Caculo Chargers, Fallary Warriors, PBC Panthers and Welfits Twisters will be competing for the Championship.
