I scribbled the mail given below with a smile. I am
sure Dr Barad read it with a frown and felt hurt.
Dr. Barad I wish to express my sincere regrets as I
know it hurt you. (Remember the laugh, cry or think
criterion.)
But I am very passionate about English and it makes me
feel bad when learned people murder it. That is not to
say that I am infallible nor am I the chancellor of
any university as rightly pointed out by you. But you
say "birds of same feather flop together". The word is
flock not flop and the full stop should come inside
the quotation. Teaching comes naturally to me (imo) so
please take it sportingly.
Besides, I am told, you are a prize winning author
yourself and it should help.

I am glad Dr Barad is not a lawyer. Forget others, he
makes such a bad case defending himself.
I only hope the title in his name is not connected to
medicine.

P.S.: And Dr Barad please the title 'Mr.' always goes
with the surname or first name + surname but never
with the first name alone. I call it an illiterate
expression. May be it is OK with Oxford and Cambridge.
