He gave this assurance to a delegation of the Citizens' Initiatives for Communal Harmony (CICH), Council for Social Justice and Peace (CSJP) and Science and Religion Sangam which called upon him in this regard yesterday. The delegation also drew his attention to the fact that a number of compensation claims have received no response, and that claims regarding goods stolen during the looting have not been entertained by the administration. The Chief Secretary assured that he would ask the concerned officers to look into the matter, according to Albertina Almeida, Convenor of Citizens' Initiatives for Communal Harmony. North Goa Collector Nikhil Kumar, who conducted the magiserial enquiry into the incident, submitted his report to the state government on February 21, 2007. -- Question everything -- Karl Marx
