-- Samir Umarye *BICHOLIM, NOV 3* Siddhanti Arjun Parab (13) from Bicholim received the state level Kala Bhushan Award 2010 of Shikshak Vikas Parishad at a function held in Belgaum-Karnataka on Sunday. According to Siddhanti’s father, Arjun, the award was given at the 16th National level Educational Conference organised by State and National Awardee Teachers Association, Shiroda. The award was given by Kittur Channama University Dean Dr Vinod Gaikwad. “Siddhanti was the youngest girl among the 69 awardees at the National level,” informed Arjun Parab. The award is given annually in recognition of outstanding achievements and distinguished contributions in educational, social, art, music, cultural and literacy fields. Siddhanti bagged the prize for her excellence in Computer education and Rangoli Art. Siddhanti has various records in Rangoli, including a 4,000 sq ft Rangoli. She has also conducted about 24 Rangoli training workshops and has also excelled in Computer field at the national level.
