FIRE CUPPING: I believe this is practiced in Toronto as well, as I had seen the back of a person who underwent this in S'boro, T.O. Saw disgusting round marks all over the back! The benefits or result however, were not discussed. Lately I saw a pic. of Brazilian football superstar of Barca, Neymar undergoing the same. See: "Neymar has some 'fire cupping' treatment as Barcelona man sits out final game of suspension" https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/3422146/neymar-fire-cupping-treatment-barcelona-suspension/ (I've seen this done to my mom for stomach ailment, by grannie, when I was little-but I think she got cured! Another 'shock' therapy is branding fire-hot copper rod on one or both heals, until the thick sole burns-it is designed to shock the liver into action for jaundice patients, also was practiced by my grannie.) P****y boy J.T. will need more of it as D.T is after Canada (so far no luck with N.Korea unlike Tomahawking Syria and 'MOAB'ing Afghans!) Regards MD Roland wrote: 'Cupping' or Ventoz as it was called in Goa is an ancient suction treatment with bamboo cups originating in China millennia ago and supposed to be used for "drawing excessive blood" to alleviate a range of ailments like Shingles, facial paralysis (Bell's Palsy), acne and worn out neck discs. In Goa on holidays in childhood I had cupping done on me for colds, chills and fevers with small shot glasses substituting I would think in 'civilized Portuguese fashion' for bamboo cups. What is not expected is the Prime Minister of Canada exhibiting bruise marks on his arms and body that we are told come from his use of 'cupping'. But Justin Trudeau doing this in the twenty first century in the western world along with the alternate medicine crowd, makes one wonder whether the more we know, the more we go back to voodoo. Please don't tell me we are harking back to ancient medicine. There's that and there's this constant love for ignorance. Roland Francis Toronto.
