Corruption in mild sense has always been part of our culture, the blame , if there is to be, could be pointed to some of the dictates in Manusmriti the treatise that deals with Hinsu social laws, especially from casteist point of view,, How can one explain that a brahmin can perfectly tell lies to save his skin and get away with it ?
