The Government over the last many years has been needlessly squandering
crores of rupees on organizing road shows across the world and within the
country to promote Goa as a Tourist destination. It has been a misconceived
waste of public funds and a free junket for the Tourism Minister and his

This my personal VERY SELFISH perspective on tourism in Goa.
It gladdens my heart to hear that there is a decline in tourism in Goa whether
it is the5-star or the 0-star variety I believe that tourism has been the bane
of Goa, which has changed our lives forever. Tourism's underbelly has been
