Dear Sanjit Rodrigues
Commissioner of CCP
Panaji

In this present Govt democratic set up whatever the Government takes up a
decision it has always been allowed and implemented. There is no choice for
the Aam Admi to give or file for any objections, as mostly decisions are
already been made in advance. Now, since the new Mayor of CCP Panaji is
chosen along with the Dy Mayor, we welcome them to occupy their chairs and
work for the betterment of Panjimites which was lacking earlier. There are
several issues cropping up and also which are not been tackled by the
previous panel groups, I expect that these new incumbents will work in the
interest of Panjimites.
Let me say that the earlier Mayor was not a computer friendly and hence he
never answered any mails sent to him and also from the general public and
hence the work or suggestions were not being executed. At least now, we
hope that this new Mayor will be able to take up the challenge and execute
or complete all the pending works which are not been taken up whether on
account of financial or some other reasons and hope that he clears up all
the pending projects especially like St Ines Creek, garbage, bad roads,
sewerage project, city parking , casinos, some illegal high rise
constructions approved by PDA and CCP having no parking, permanent parked
old cars on roads, illegal advertisement boards and gone case ancient
buildings to be raised and use the space in the public interest. At the
same time, we expect that the all existing military buildings including
military Hospital in the city of Panjim to get them shifted at the
outskirts of Panjim away from the city and may utilize this space after
raising them for the construction of double storage parking for vehicles.
Heritage buildings to be preserved and maintained at all costs.
Will this new Mayor start corresponding with the public on e-mails instead
of people writing them letters by post so that the work could go smooth
and at higher speed?
And what will be the contacts numbers of telephones and e-mails of this
new Mayor and the Commissioner of CCP?
