Dear Goanetters I have witnessed a very freak accident on Sunday around 11 am. A young boy of 19 years come full speed around 80 mph all the way from Panjim and is in mighty hurry to go somewhere. When he reaches Damian de Goa he comes in that same speed overtaking cars from the left and some from the right reaches Sydney Pinto Rosario's hospital slope again overtakes left and right and in the process bangs one or two cars and lands on the opposite car .The inmates of the other car were badly hurt .The question is if we really have a police stationed all along Panjim Porvorim highway and if the police are supposed to do bandobust moving about in jeeps how did this young boy of 19 do acrobats? The second question I would like to know as to why he was not arrested and tried for criminal offence ? .
