Chinese mobile giant Xiaomi plans to set up 2 manufacturing plants in
India. The have also revealed that Foxconn, is in talks with a few states
for setting up plants in India.

Considering the Govt's intention to invite electronics companies to Goa, it
is extremely important for all related Govt departments to come together
and jointly approach Xiaomi as well as Foxconn for investment in Goa before
any other state wins them.

While the Electronics and Software industry is upbeat about Make In India,
it is imperative that the Goa Govt capitalizes on the trend. The

green industry that plans expansion in India.
