THOSE RAGAMUFFINS: The Mustard Seed Art Company, a local band of theatre artistes, enters its Silver Jubilee Year in 2012. That’s one colourful reason to train the spot light on the arts. The play the group is about to stage is entitled Those Ragamuffins. This original performance blends dramatic story with song and an adaptation of a folk tale, all to create a delightful stage event. Theatre artistes collaborate with other arts (Rajendra Usapkar and team of painters; Rui Lobo and team of musicians). The show at the D.M.K. Kala Academy, Panjim, (25th May 2012) is a fund-raising initiative of Muskaan in aid of children affected with cancer. The show at the Ravindra Bhavan (Black Box) Margao, is on 24th May 2012.
