sometimes I see an Error from an request path that does not exists on
the dashboard. Then I want to check whats happened, I click on the
link and get to the log viewer. Then there is no log entry because the
error occured some hours ago, this means that I have to click a
hundred times or more
Haha, nicely put. This message has been a running joke in the
#appengine IRC channel for more than a year every time there is a
service hiccup.

As someone pointed to in comments to the post looks like they use same
entity group in GAE datastore - what is bogus and make the test
senseless as GAE designed to be scaled and this test trying to prove
it's not.
Their reply point that "we wanted maximum consistency" just does not
add any sense a
lool..what a funny conversation to read it early morning when having my
coffee.

Quite often when we see that message in the status page there are at

Hi,
I have a few indexes which are stuck at the building state. I've
uploaded the index definitions about 11hours ago and on the dashboard
it still shows building: queued 0, running 0, completed 0, total 0.
for the 3 new indexes. These are for 2 different Kind's which both
have 10+M entities.

Brian -- I forgot to mention that I am not involved with the
referenced articles in any way, so I have no idea when new results
will be available. Contacting the authors of the paper and reporting

Is there a group dedicated to Google's Images API or is this group
appropriate? I have an issue with the quality of images that are a result of
the api's scaling algorithm, specifically the result of the makeResize
transformation. I've determined that the values I am feeding to the call ar

Update: authentication options are now available for new applications,
and seem to have been unlocked for another one I had already deployed.
Maybe it's because the other app I wanted to use OpenID was restricted
