I'm seeing the same thing. :( It's been 6 hours now of latency averaging
over 3 seconds when usually it's 300 milliseconds. The app engine status
says everything is okay and there are no latency problems. I really hope
someone is investigating this, some functionality of my app is broken
have been fixed anyway :)

Google said a blobstore migration tool is coming so I've held off on
finishing move to HRD until that comes out. Looking forward to be switched

I've been using app engine for a year and a half or so all on M/S and
regularly see this DeadlineExceeded error trouble as well. It's definitely
not an app side issue but more like bad weather in the infrastructure that
comes as goes. Things can go for a couple months running smoothly with

too. It'll say in the log the requests are like 60 to 85 seconds and the
same requests at other times go through in 200 milliseconds.
Today I'm also getting a lot of InternalError: internal error.

High latencies with random APIs come and go like weather fronts some
days. xD After I switched over a bunch of code the Blobstore file
APIs are again behaving. Oh well. Do the status page latency graphs
