I have an application that I built which I would like to sell in the Google
Apps Marketplace http://www.google.com/enterprise/marketplace

One of the check boxes is for "Installable on Google Apps" . I run my App
Engine Apps on Apps all the time, and because I have made all the settings
configurable in the app, so it is "installable" with out modifying the
source code (possibly the App.yaml would need the application name changed)

In order to have an App install in to the marketplace you need an
Application Manifest XML, which wouldn't really do what I want, I don't
think. Is there a way to make AppEngine Apps "Installable" in the
marketplace?

Other than me pushing the App to the customer's AppEngine is there a way to
deploy without sharing the source?

I guess while I'm adding things to a wish list.. My application is a Reverse
Caching Proxy which acts like an easy CDN for accelerating websites, so I'd
really like to bill based on usage, rather than a one time fee. If I manage
the various installs that is easy, but I'd really like a SAS model where I
would give it out for free, and simply have their Google AppEngine Bill have
my markup included.
