Hi,
The cron job is not visible in "Cron Jobs" tab. It doesn't run as well.
My cron.xml is next to appengine-web.xml.
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<cronentries>
<cron>
<url>/task</url>
<description>task on test</description>
<schedule>every 10 minutes</schedule>
</cron>
</cronentries>
Url "/task" can be access.
