This Google I/O talk from 2011
<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7B7FyU9wW8Y&list=FLcBSmKKUXoPd5yFneNFDv4A>
described several features for the full-text search API, including
Datastore integration and a REST API. They mentioned that they were
releasing the core API first, and those other features later. Lack of
Datastore integration in particular is a significant thorn in my side
because there's no other way to transactionally make index and Datastore
changes together. As it has been 3 years since that talk, are those
features still on the roadmap, and if so, when are they slated for release?
