A question to GAE engineers: Is there plan/considerations to provide some API to Google FIle System ( http://labs.google.com/papers/gfs.html ) so we could append to files quick&cheap?
At the moment I'm thinking about developing a some logging/monitoring app but can't figure out how I can do it with current BigTable limitations (even usign sharding). I believe many people/app could benefit if Google provide such an infrustructure as GFS. If this is not possible would be interesting to know - why not? Thanks in advance for any insight. P.S.
