AppEngine is way easier to use than Amazon's web services. All the
admin is done for you - you just have to do the scripting.
You can always use a CDN to host your media and use AppEngine to
render the HTML that displays that media; however, I that's probably
overkill for you. Just put your ima
S3 only hosts static files, so it's not going to do you much good for
hosting the site itself. App Engine with S3 for file storage is
probably a viable option.
