Hi Alex, consider to use a version control system for that purpose. App Engine serves your application, not your code :) This question has been discussed several times on this list, try searching this list for different approaches (http://groups.google.com/group/google-appengine/search?group=google-appengine&q=download+code&qt_g=Search+this+group).
