I mean like this: I have a valid SSL certificate, and a website that uses GAE. Could I install the certificate, and keep the website on one domain, or do I have to redirect users to my appspot domain? Let's assume the SSL secured pages are Login and Register. With my SSL certificate issued for

Yes SSL only works on your .appspot.com domain. Current browser technology doesnt really make it feasible for Google to offer SSL on custom domains. It would need this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Server_Name_Indication - its browser support is not wide enough to make it worthwhile 2009/12/13
