Gosh. This is really annoying with no place to turn for help. My app
engine app has an index error and there is no way to resolve it.
Index error is persistent and vacuum_indexes fails on linux and
windows.
Were can I get help with this?

Brian, what's your app ID? Can you also post the rest of your indexes.yaml
file? There have been some issues with properties with special characters,
but this shouldn't cause the error you've been seeing.

Why does adding this to my index.yaml fail to build an index?
- kind: FooBar
ancestor: yes
properties:
- name: __key__
direction: desc
That should be a simple enough index, yes? What's the problem?
Banging my head against this problem for the last few hours has really
soured me on the whole Ind
Made a mistake and vaccum the index that's not suppose to be deleted.
I then deploy the app while the index is deleting and all the index is
in Error state.
I tried to vaccum them but they still stuck at Error. Now I can't
delete index nor deploy app to rebuild the index.
What should I do to fix
My app id is litl-developer-dev
First I got an error because I was missing the index for a query.
So, I added the index but that immediately caused an error and now the
index is in the Error state.
Trying to vacuum the index so I could perhaps recreate it, I also get
an error:
kind: forum_threa
We throttle the rate at which indexes are bulk deleted. If you aren't using
these indexes, it shouldn't affect your application - our background tasks
just have to get around to clearing them out.
