[1] Will the read-only mode be for the entire hour for a specific app? Typically the disabling of writes for a particular app seems to be for less than the full maintenance window. This effects how I handle the down time. i.e. leave the app up, but warn people, vs literally take the app down for the whole hour.
[2] In the past there has been discussions that you're working to avoid this kind of maintenance. Do you expect this kind of scheduled maintenance to continue to take place in the future? Or will there be a day when traffic will be diverted to one data center while you do maintenance on another data center?
