We are using a custom remote delegate to route datastore rpc call to
live production test site on appspot. We did this because sometimes we
want to develop with live data.
However after upgrading to 1.4.2, https outbound call starts failing
(see below). If we change to http, then it works again.
This doesn't look like a pre-release SDK...
It's available in the downloads page as a final version.

Usually if you see a prerelease SDK, it means the final release is coming
in the next few weeks.

It's coming soon, but it's not quite ready yet. We've pushed some of the
backends.

How do we disable that check? Considering that we could break our deployed
apps by upgrading.

It's not actually going to upgrade you. It's just notifying you that there's
a new SDK available.
