With the Google App Engine, one must use https://<domain>.appspot.com for SSL. With Google, the issuer is the "Google Internet Authority". I accept this, however when one uses VeriSign as the issuer, they're allowed to display a "VeriSign Secured" logo. This logo can also be clicked to to trigger a confirmation or verification event. Basically, it makes the users feel a bit more secure about submitting personal information and that there actually is an SSL connection.
Is it possible that the Google App Engine already has a feature like this? If not, would it be possible for them to develop one?
