Actually now that google has announced the issue tracker api...
combining the stack trace matcher with it might be a winning
proposition.

The java version could have a Issue constructor that took a exception,
and then matched a stacktrace with the remote issues, marking the
issue as duplicate or new.

Looks good, starting to use it in an IRC bot. Only thing I've noticed
is that there doesn't seem to be any way to get the owner of an issue
from the Python API directly. I've gotten around it by using
XmlElement's get_element call for now, but it's a little ugly.
Apparently I'm not the only one they're spoofing now. I'm setting the whole
list to moderated for now.
