issues that already affected GCJ 2009.
I would like to have a chance to go onsite (since I've manage to be in
the top500 in 2009), but I prefer to have a GJC 2010 without onsite
regionals than not having GCJ 2010 at all.

Hi I think this schedule has some problems - first of all it coincides
with Topcoder open. Second i think that summer is better for such kind
of a competition - July August maybe is the best. Many students have
their exams earlier and they are a large amount of the total count.

I'm going to say something unpopular, but I'm OK with there being a
limited number of onsite placements. It seems to me that google has a
limited budget for code jam stuff, and for my particular taste, the

days theory and around 1 week practicals. In my university, the end semester

It would not make it impossible, just more difficult. For example:
I just heard back regarding php|tek 2010 and it does end on May 21.

2. There should be regionals.
3. Quals and Round 1 are difficult to attend due to exams or conferences.
We'll pass all of this on to our master scheduler,
