Oh, OK. I'm the only one to blame here, my bad. Perhaps common
courtesy, though, should include reading a thread in its entirety
before commenting on it. Thanks for seeing en4ce's side of it,
because, after all, he certainly has shown how courteous a user he
truly is.

Hi Hank
The reason nobody replied to your origonal post is virtually nobody
has the time to try and read nevermind debug code in a thread.
It is a common courtesy to read the posting guidelines before posting

Hi en4ce:
It seems my thread here lacks etiquette. My bad for my part in that.
If you could provide insight here on how I can demonstrate a more
professional approach to posting content on groups.google.com in the
future, I would happily consider it. Had you read my post in full,

Hi Larry:
Thanks for the super fast reply :-)
Your link is what I was thinking.
I might try to make it a custom marker, something that will contain
the dynamic text.
I saw a couple examples out there.
thanks

There is no "title" option for a Rectangle or a Polygon.

Hello:
I am placing several rectangles on a map and would like to label each
rectangle from its records title. Can I do this by specifying the
title inside the rectangle options or must I create a separate marker

It would be more useful if you post some example or at least "which parks or
cities you have tried."
I am not sure any of these will help you:
1- sublocality is something optional. Not all "elements" (city, park,
address, whatever) have it
2- Depending on the country, you will get totally diff
