Found out what the problem was.. I had set the size of the MarkerImage
to a bigger size than the actual image and therefore the marker
appeared to be at the incorrect position.

Hi,
Is it possible to to use the API with only overlays, and not the Google
basemaps (ROADMAP, SATELLITE, HYBRID, TERRAIN)?
