Thank you for your reply! Did you paste the code before zooming? When I paste it to the console and zoom out afterwards I can see it. Just tried it using Safari, I have not tested it in another browser.
Well, what I am trying to achieve is the following: I want to know whether a marker is visible or not. Hence I wanted to check if the bounds of the map contain the position of this marker. This does not work when the bounding box of the map behaves like that, because a marker that is in between these rectangles will not be within their bounds.
