How to increase pagerank is a very interesting question. I generate a
sitemap that appears to work and managed to get PageRank 3 then trying to
increase PageRank from other activities than a sitemap is a challenge.

Sitemaps are a useful tool to help search engines find their way into your
site. But they are not enough alone. The pages need good links and
navigation between them.
Google's ranking is in part based on the number of links to a page, so a
page only in sitemap won't do well. But also google isn't

practice. That is an XML file for crawlers.

However, I am not aiming for accessibility here (at least not at the
moment).
So, what can I do short of creating a parallel, non map, site
containing all my data - which would rather defeat the purpose of what
I have done upto now ?
