HI, used gexml3 to produce this http://creativemaps.vism.ag/sheffield.htm works a treat. tried to merge that with geolocation so that it would find the users location and places the info window saying 'found using w3c standard', would be among any pins/markers that are in that location loaded via the the geoxml3 file.
i see that there are errors in this example of where i have tried to merge http://creativemaps.vism.ag/locationdev1.htm but i dont know how to fix them. is this example the best way to do what i am trying to do? its just a way i have tried. a smaller note, why isnt the get 'map center test' link in the top left of the page not re-locating to the lat lng i specified. i know you dont like code here but can see at a glance and there is a link to where the code isnt working. <span onclick="map_canvas.setCenter(new google.maps.LatLng(37.020098,-92.373047));map.setZoom(4);"style="cursor: pointer;">map center test</span> if i can target coordinates with a hyperlink via the span class then i dont need lots of different pages to maps and have just one map that just changes its lat lng orientation and shows you my overlays for that area and pins. well, hope i'm clear and can solve the problems. thanks chris -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps JavaScript API v3" group.
