That makes no sense. I authorized the script to make changes by providing
my access token. So for all intents and purposes I am on the user making
the edit. But onEdit function is not triggering even though there clearly
is an edit.

I have the onEdit function set to add a timestamp whenever the Temboo API
edits a spreadsheet. It's not working, onEdit only triggers when I manually
edit the spreadsheet. Is this a bug in the spreadsheet API?
