The Classic Column Charts already support clickable axis labels, and have
for a while now. Although I wouldn't recommend using the labels for
drilldown, since labels are referred to by their index, and if a label is
omitted, then the indices won't match up to the categories anymore. Here's

The chart API does not support anything but a plain text.
