we started a GWT project with version 2.6 some time ago. Within this
project we created a new custom theme as a separate GWT module within the
same Eclipse project the two main modules are located (3 GWT modules in
sum). The theme module is inherited by the main GWT modules. With version

So yes, gwt-codeserver is actually useless starting with GWT 2.7.0-rc1.

Hello all,
I was asking myself when I should use the gwt-codeserver.jar
I'm not including it into my project but I can run Super Dev Mode anyway,
so I've checked the content of the gwt-codeserver.jar to see what it does
provide that is not provided by gwt-dev:

I would rather think about getting from the Designer a GWT-compatible code
in java !
