This must be the problem you were having from your other email. It's
unusual that a reboot would cause an issue like this. Are you behind a
proxy? Are you using an @gmail account, or a Google Apps domain
account? Do you see any other relevant errors in the Eclipse error

Installed GPE 2.3 into a virgin Eclipse Helios and all was hunky dorey
for a few days.
After a routine reboot I can no longer sign in.
If I click sign in to Google I get
