Chrome already has a protocol for most of this stuff, a wire-debugging protocol and source-maps. IntelliJ/WebStorm have direct support for this. WebStorm 6 for example + Chrome will do much of what the Firefox announcement talks about. It even has "Live Editing" On Mon, Mar 18, 2013 at 10:36 AM
