ABSTRACT : The study of Fokker-Planck equations is of considerable interest in physics since the pioneering work of Einstein (1901) on the Brownian motion. The simplest Fokker-Planck equation is the Smoluchowski (1915) equation. This is a drift-diffusion equation describing the diffusion of particles in physical space in the presence of an external potential. We study a general of Fokker-Planck equations and show their applications in generalized diffusion models. Key Words : Fokker-Planck equations, generalized diffusion
