Some of my students are getting silent errors trying to run r.reclass
in windows. They have tried entering the reclassification info into
the TclTk interactive window AND uploading it as a file. It give no
error, but the resulting map is only nulls.

Has anyone considered the possibility of doing stream-based calculations on
the GPU [1] for raster operations on large datasets ?

importing the points from their original file again. I'll see if
v.transform will do it in one step.
