Can I set LC_CTYPE and LC_ALL with the normal bash export commands?

I've worked on vector API, in particular on geometry feature (Point

I've posted new Mac binaries for all versions along with the frameworks I used
to make these--to make sure that you all have the correct frameworks.
But there is a problem that could range from annoying to serious for users of
these binaries--and maybe the set I just replaced. Recent changes

Unfortunately, putting this into .grass.bashrc doesn't work, nor does putting

Here is the weekly report.
Completed:
* Finished 2 ToDo tasks that should have sped up the algorithm. One
was helpful, the other wasn't.

Set it in ~/.bash_profile, I don't think Terminal on OS X reads ~/.bashrc.
