Hi,
due to some unexpected and unknown event on the virtual machine
hosting http://grass.osgeo.org (also GDAL and other projects), our
main site is currently down [1]. Since it is night in the US (the
server is in Oregon), it may take a bit more to get it back online. We

Following the thread on compiling GRASS 7 where homebrew was mentioned,
I would like to ask two questions about GRASS and homebrew:
1) When installing GRASS from homebrew (stable, not HEAD) I can't launch
the WXgui - when I try it from GRASS, I get:

Hm, I can
I’m trying to compile GRASS 7 RB.
Something has changed with the configuration checks so that it no longer can
find my installation of gettext. It worked OK on 3 January 2014, the last time
I compiled GRASS 7.

It must be a local prob
Hi,
the grass.osgeo.org server (also GDAL, OpenLayers and others) are
still unreachable due to unexpected major issues on the server.
OSGeo-SAC and OSUOSL are working on it [2].
Please continue to use the mirror sites, see below.

I don’t know what has changed, but I just recompiled gettext and redid
configure. It still does not find gettext.
The configure flag I’m using is --with-nls
That’s still correct, right?
Here is the error:
checking whether to use NLS... yes
checking for gettext... no

I compiled the new GRASS 7 beta1 from the current release branch and posted it
to the http://grassmac.wikidot.com web site. In order to make this available as
soon as possible, I have had to compile it without LAS tools and without
gettext internationalization support. If you install this,IT WIL

The configure script doesn't attempt to detect the architecture. The
default is --with-opengl=yes, which is equivalent to --with-opengl=x11.

Hi,
I just had three issues with color table.
1) First, I did not see anything when I showed the output of r.stats.zonal
in map display:
r.stats.zonal base=basin_10K cover=aspect method=sum output=test
d.rast test
But the values were ok, so I realized I that the preset color table is
wrong and
Hi,
what is the right replacement for r.sum? The NewFeatures [1] (1) page says:
r.sum: merged into G7:r.statistics, G7:r.statistics2, G7:r.statistics3
However, it seems to me that r.univar is the replacement. But on the other
hand, r.univar always computes all statistics, so there is certainly
