It's probably the new SIP security protection, which makes executables ignore
DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH. Part of GRASS compilation is to run the modules to generate
help files. Since they're not in their install location yet, DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH
is needed for them to find the GRASS libraries, but DYLD_L

I am reworking a simulation which uses GRASS 6.4 and would like to move
it to GRASS 7. But I realized that my homebrew installation of GRASS
7.0 (and 7.1) do not work anymore due to upgrades of different
packages.
