Dear All,
We are trying some morphological DEM interpolation algorithm which
requires rasterized contour maps with constant values in intercontour
areas. For example I like to fill the area between 10 and 20 meter,
20-30 meter vector contour lines with 15, 25m as constant value and
save the outpu

Yes, in my group we have a similar concept. The /grassdata/ directory
is on a shared network drive (NFS in our case).
I
My method is to make each LOCATION = a coordinate reference system,
then each MAPSET holds all layers for some project. So I have a
LOCATION called WGS84, and inside several MAPSETs, one for each
project. Then another LOCATION called ITM (Israel transverse
Mercator) again
Hi all,
I am looking for advice on how to manage my locations. I have Grass
installed on my laptop, where I'm the only user. So I use the PERMANENT
mapset for each location, which seems to be ok.
However, I've got a growing list of locations that is becoming hard to
manage. Each dataset that
All,
I'm trying to help a colleague with a project; on the face of it, the issue
seems straight-forward, but I can't seem to find the right combination of
GRASS commands to do this.
In lieu of doing a full-blown hydraulic modeling analysis, as a first
approximation, my colleague wants to use a GI
